Happy Holidays from our Home to yours…

Let's see... what happened around here this year of 2009?

     January - Our home improvement this year was the addition of a surround sound system in the family room.

     February - We had a very nice family gathering in Southern California with the Davis side of the family, and Don's need-for-speed took him to a track day at Thunderhill Raceway where he got to drive fast without worrying about getting a ticket.

     March - The 6th grade field trip to Point Bonita for 3 days (2 nights) was an all around great experience for Josh. They had one day at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, a day of nature hikes, then packing up and heading back home. We finally got Mary to Point Bonita so she could see the lighthouse there… it made for a nice day trip.

     May - Joshua's science class divided into groups and built a rat maze (okay - the dad's got to build a rat maze) they then trained a rat to learn the maze - their rat's best time was recorded at 22 seconds.

     June - The end of elementary school for Josh as he graduated 6th grade... then it was off for the second boy's only fishing trip to the Sierra Buttes along with Uncle Larry... we fished, fired off a few rounds at some targets, and went on a hike over hills of solid granite.

     July - We made a day trip to Half Moon Bay that included a couple stops at a few more of California's lighthouses, and had a family photo day that included Sargent.

     November - Grandpa Davis and Don's Aunt Sue visited through the Thanksgiving Holiday - it was very nice to spend time with them both as a good time was had by all...

     December – It snowed!!! not very much snow, but it actually snowed.

     Christmas will again find us here at home.
