Happy Holidays from our Home to yours…

2011... Christmas time again.

     February – Mary celebrated her birthday along with nephew Jace. We also managed to get away to Yosemite. This was the first time any of us had been to Yosemite and the sights were just breath taking.

     March – Joshua’s Science class was assigned a project to design and build a bridge to be tested under pressure.

     June – Another Science project… this one was to build a car powered by the spring of a mouse trap. Joshua finished out Junior High receiving an award at Graduation for Outstanding Citizenship.

     July – Major work on the house - the bedroom slider doors were converted to windows, the front of the house had the wood siding changed to stucco, took care of a dry rot problem, Mary got her new front door, and finished off with a fresh coat of paint.

     August – Traveled to Portland to visit Aunt Sue and family, and took a drive along the Columbia River with a stop at Multnomah Falls. We squeezed in what has become an annual Sierra City fishing trip that included Mary and Sargent. Joshua turned 14 this year, and Mary’s sister got married. We welcome Bud into the family.

     Christmas will again find us here at home.
