David W. Davis passed away August 5, 2015 at the age of 75. David was born in Glendive, MT on Feb. 2, 1940 to Lovell S. Davis and S. Joyce Davis. Having a sister come with him was a complete surprise to his parents and the doctor! The twins had an older brother, Richard (Buck) Davis that preceded him in death on April 26, 2015. His parents have also preceded him in death.

He moved to Bozeman, MT with his family in 1947 remaining there until his graduation from Montana State University with a BS Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Major. He married Sandra Bingham November 24, 1964 and two children were born to that marriage: Donald (Mary) Davis and Shawna Davis. Sandi passed away 10/8/2002.

He spent his life being a “bean counter” beginning with Rogers Bros in Idaho Falls, ID in 1965 as Administrative Manager; Brooks-Scanlon, Inc. in Bend, OR beginning in 1973 as Chief Accountant; AAR Northwest, Inc,/Western Skyways, Inc. in Troutdale, OR in 1977 as Controller; Superior Packing Co. in Davis, CA beginning in 1980 as Financial Manager/Controller. He finished his career with Brandt Beef in Brawley, CA and just retired in March 2015 after being with them over ten years.

David was a very giving individual and he tried to be a friend to everyone. He will be gravely missed by his family and friends. He never lost his love for Montana, buying a condo there in 2007 with the hope that he could move there after his retirement. He leaves behind his two children, Donald (Mary) Davis and Shawna Davis and grandchildren; Joshua Davis, Trevor Kluth and Dillon (Jussel) Kluth and his twin sister, Daryl (Stan) Todd of Gallatin Gateway, MT.

A wake/remembrance time will be held at his home in Imperial, CA on Aug. 22, 2015 beginning at 4:00 pm.
Internment at Covina, CA next to his beloved wife, Sandi.
